Itinerary:

• Depart Waterloo Region on the morning of September 27. There are two options for pickup. You may also park your vehicle at these locations:
  • 7:30AM. Depart from Country Mile bus lot (Enviro-Eze, 7201 Line 86, Wallenstein)
  • 7:45AM. Depart from Highway 8-Sportsworld Carpool Lot, Kitchener
• Rest stops are planned for Barrie, Sudbury (lunch) and Spanish. Additional stops will be made as needed.
• Dinner and free evening in Sault Ste. Marie
• Overnight at the Sleep Inn, Sault Ste. Marie (for those who have reserved a room)
• Breakfast at the Sleep Inn, early morning of September 28 (for those who have reserved a room)
• Depart for Twilight Resort, early morning of September 28
• Arrive mid-morning at Twilight Resort, install the plaque (approximately 10AM) and spend time exploring the area on foot.
• Board the bus early afternoon, and return to Waterloo Region pickup points late evening of September 28

Cost:

• Bus ticket: $200 per person
• Accommodations: Sleep Inn, Sault Ste. Marie
• Meals: Saturday breakfast is included at the Sleep Inn

If you need to cancel:

• Hotel rooms can be only be cancelled by contacting the hotel directly
• If you must cancel your bus ticket, we ask that you consider converting your payment to a tax-receiptable donation to the Historical Society.  Refunds will not be issued less than one week before departure.
